The external fuel tank (Slipper tank) is a useful addition to the Spitfire, and allows you to extend your flight time considerably. However, you may not want to use it for a number of reasons.

How to remove the Slipper Tank

Removing the Slipper Tank before flight:

1. Navigate to the "Weight and Balance"tab in the World Map
2. Set your External Fuel Tank to 0%

Removing the Slipper Tank after the Flight has started:

1. Pull the jettison lever located on the Cockpit floor, right side (highlighted below).
